Though there are many methods that are used for tooth whitening the following home remedies are good and very beneficial in combating this condition.

- A paste prepared by mixing baking soda with H2O2 and used to brush the teeth will help in removing all the stains within a period of a month.

- NaHCO3 or sodium bicarbonate when used with toothpaste for brushing the teeth in the morning is a good way to remove stains in the mouth.

- Scrubbing the teeth with the bark of a walnut tree is beneficial in removing stains on the teeth and is a good home remedy for the whitening of teeth.

- Using apple cider vinegar to brush your teeth in the morning as well as in the night is a proven remedy to get rid of stains in the mouth.

- Potassium hydroxide is a whitening agent that is got from wood ash and brushing teeth using this is very beneficial in combating staining of the teeth.

- Using lemon juice as toothpaste is beneficial in removing stains on the teeth.
