Depression is a very common disorder. It is not the same as having a blue mood. Depression is common and a high percentage of people suffer from it mostly in their teen life. Depressions in people are generally situational and reactive mainly associated with some sort of grief, loss or a major social change. Sadness is a part of life. Pressure from our surroundings is something we all have to deal with. Depression is just a reaction to painful circumstances.

There are simple treatments that you can do at home in order to calm your mind and feel positive about life. Like add rose petals and sugar to boiling water and drink it when ever you feel depressed. An apple eaten with milk and honey can surely uplift your mood. You can even go for a bar of chocolate. But you must control the amount and how frequently you have it or you’ll become a depressive eater, which means that you will become obese due to always eating leading to more depression.

Taking a neutral immersion bath daily for one hour also helps to fight depression. You can also try morphine which is a combination of several brain boosting herbs. But you must first understand the cause of depression and mentally adopt your self to live with out feeling stressed before you can actually feel the effects of these remedies.
