* Kava Kava – this herb from the South Pacific helps cure depression. It relaxes the muscles and is effective at treating the anxiety that accompanies menopause. It should not be had more than 3 times a week.
* Liquorice Root – helps the body to handle situations that are stressful, and normalizes the level of blood sugar. It can be had as a tonic.
* Passion Flower – is a mild sedative. It also helps you to deal with anxiety, depression, nervousness and insomnia.
* Lavender – this is absolutely the best herb to deal with irritability, and anxiety, and bring about a sense of calm and relaxation. It is an anti-bacterial agent, and helps balance the hormones. Lavender boosts the body’s immune system. It can be had as an infusion, but is best when breathed in from a diffuser.
