You can also use a teaspoon full of yogurt or curd to treat the burn. This provides some instant relief from the burning sensation experienced.

Aloe vera also proves extremely useful in treating the burn wound. You should apply the gel in every one hour and it provides relief and helps in healing too.

If you use pure lavender oil on the effected area, the pain would subside within few minutes. It is advised here that you should be using the pure form of lavender oil.

A ripened papaya works beyond one’s imagination. There are special enzymes in a ripened papaya that not only help in providing relief but also they help in replacing dead and damaged cells from the burnt site with new cells and promote cell growth.

Whole milk is another natural form of the treatment of a burn. Dip your finger or the effected area in whole milk for about fifteen minutes. This would take away the burning sensation instantly.

If you are a follower of acupressure then you might want to use it in the treatment of a burn. It is said that if you have a burn somewhere on the tip of a finger then pricking your earlobe would help you in providing relief.

Egg white, detergent and toothpaste, when applied immediately to the effected area also help in healing of the burnt skin.

Use of certain oils like pure form of coconut oil and lavender oil, on the area burnt will help in the fading of the mark from the skin. You should apply any of these oils at least twice a day for getting rid off the scar.

Diarrhea is a condition when the body is not able to absorb water from our diet and the excess water goes out of the body in the form of loose stools. This condition results when the intestines of our body fail to absorb water from the food and in turn the other organs produce water from them and the body dehydrates. This disease is of two types. One type is acute type and the other one is chronic diarrhea. This condition can prove to be fatal. This condition can be faced by anyone belonging to any age group.

To treat this condition at home, many home remedies can be used to get into a better condition.

To begin with it should be noticed that a fast relief and treatment is desired in such a condition as the body cannot be made to lose excess of water in a short period of time as it can lead to a serious condition of the patient.

A person who is suffering from diarrhea should be fed with Indian gooseberry or amla, mixed with lime and some sugar. Sugar is preferred as it helps a person with diarrhea to help retain water in the body.

One other mixture that is very good for a diarrhea can be made by mixing half a teaspoon of ginger juice with an equal quantity of lime juice. A pinch of black pepper should also be added. This mixture should be given at least two times a day to the patients. This really helps in the fast recovery of the patient and helps the intestines to function in a proper way and to absorb water from the diet.

A commonly used method to treat diarrhea is to mash banana in some amount of curd and to be fed to the patient at small intervals. This is for the reason that banana really helps the body to retain water and makes the motion better.

Amaranth seeds and leaves also are a very good and effective cure for this problem. For using these, boil at least three cups of water. Then add a spoonful of seeds to this water. Cover this mixture for about 5 minutes and heat it on a low flame.

After 5 minutes remove the lid and then add some leaves to the mixture, which is now heated up. The patient should drink at least two cups of this tea in the entire day. This really helps the patient to recover from this problem.

One more effective way but not that commonly used is to treat this disease with the use of red radishes. For this blend some red radishes and add a cup of milk to it. The milk added should be cold. Then add half a teaspoon of cornstarch to it. The patient should drink this mixture slowly. This treatment is said to be a very fast working method to cure diarrhea and can stop the motions within 45 minutes of time. The patient is suggested to take this mixture in every four hours time throughout the day.

If you mix some honey in lukewarm water and ingest it, it is supposed to cut down the motion of the person and helps combating the disease.

Another mixture, which can prove to be of extreme use, is a mixture if black, pepper and curd. You should add some jaggery into the mixture. Take few seeds of black pepper and powder them. Then mix it in curd and take this at least twice a day. This one is a sure shot way of dealing with common cold.

One more method is to inhale steam and also taking a hot water bath. Drinking anything warm also relaxes the tract and helps in feeling better.

If you like to have milk, then heat up a glass of milk and then add few pieces of roasted asafoetida in it. You should have this milk at least two times a day. This helps in clearing the nasal tract.

Another one that works well with milk is mix in a glass if milk a pinch of turmeric spice. This along with having antiseptic properties helps one to overcome cold.

It is said that lemon is really beneficial for the sufferers of cold. So to bring lemon in action, as it is very difficult to consume lemon as it is, put a glass of water on boiling. Then add the pulp of lemon into it and also a tablespoon of barley. This would make lemon-barley water. Cover the mixture and leave it overnight. The next morning strain through a sieve and add honey to it.

Addition of honey is optional.
